Prisca Selvini

Prisca was born and grew up in the dance school founded by her mother, Maria Selvini, in Chiasso. Even as a little girl Prisca attended the vocational school in Munich, Bavaria, parallel to the primary school.
Her diploma Prisca receives at the Schweizerische Ballettberufsschule SBBS in Zurich with a scholarship from the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation. Her career leads into the classical ballet company of Riga, where she interprets the most important roles of classical ballet.
From Riga she arrives in the U.S., where her career develops in modern dance in collaboration with choreographers such as A.C. Ciulla and is nominated for the Tony Awards for Footloose.

Upon her return Prisca supports her mother Mary in the school with teaching of classical and modern courses and founds a preparatory group from which several of her students such as Elisa Nazzari emerge. Thanks to this course, developed to prepare for auditions at vocational schools, allow their students to enter the vocational school of Riga, Latvia, vocational school Munich, Bavaria, Alvin Ailey School in New York and the Academy Varium of Anna Sanchez in Barcelona for their studies.
