Monika comes from Grenchen, Switzerland, and studies at the Schweizerische Ballettberufsschule SBBS Zurich as well as at the Ecole-Atelier Rudra Béjart, Lausanne, before she participates at the first Swiss Audition of the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation for the Rotterdamse Dansacademie, The Netherlands.
She receives a scholarship for her vocational training at this place of training.
