Catherine was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire.
She attends her first dance lessons at the age of three at Mavis Burrows School of Dancing in her hometown.
At the age of eleven, she is accepted at the Royal Ballet Junior School, White Lodge.
She continues her training at the Catherine at the Dorothy Stevens School of Ballet & Modern Dance and completes it at the English National Ballet School with the support of a Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation scholarship.
Catherine finishes her dancing career a while ago after dancing with Peter Schaufuss in Denmark.

She completes a degree in law and a teaching diploma at the Royal Academy of Dance.
She lives in Milan for two years and teaches English before returning back in the United Kingdom working in a law firm as a legal assistant.
In August Catherine marries Mario in Acqui Terme, Italy.
Back to the UK Catherine is teaching ballet in the evening.
